A modern ranch on a sloping site, finished in natural, earthy materials.
The client had just bought a couple of acres and wanted a custom home that felt grounded in the land. The site falls away to one side, so we kept the bedrooms and main living on one level with the drive and tucked a walkout lower level into the slope. The garage, laundry and entry sit together at one end, leaving the rest of the house calm and private.
